Olivia been a part of the Chirotherapy family for 8 years, first as a part of the reception team and now as a Chiropractor after graduating from Macquarie University. She knows very well that the health of every body is unique, and that a similar complaint between two different people is often the result of many different things. Olivia’s care has a “no one size fits all” approach – every condition has a different cause and so requires different approaches to treat it.

Olivia utilises a combination of muscle release and trigger point therapy, musculoskeletal dry needling, manual manipulative therapy and mobilisations, muscular and postural taping, as well as tailored exercises to best achieve her patient’s goals. She enjoys working with everyone and thrives on educating people, not only on how injuries happen but on how best support their bodies and themselves.

In the past 4 years, Olivia has been undergoing training in SFMA and FMS to best compliment her treatment and help her patients. Screening the body for areas that aren’t moving or stabilising well enough allows us to identify issues before they become problematic – picking the injury before it becomes an injury! It also helps to get to the root cause of a problem, rather than just working on the symptoms surrounding it. This helps get people back into what they want to do sooner, but teaches them confidence in how to take care of themselves better.

Outside of work, Olivia is active within the community. In early 2022, she competed in Adelaide at the AMMNA Netball championships for NSW, and plays in both Super-league and M-League netball. She often volunteers at Ku-ring-Gai Netball Association as an umpire and umpire coach, as well as umpiring at state representative and national levels. This unique exposure to high level sports is important and helpful in her day to day practice. She also enjoys gardening, loves cooking and talking about food, and shares her life with her partner and rescue cat, Zeus.

Olivia looks forward to meeting you and working with you to find your best version of yourself. Book online now here.
